We are pleased to announce our first worship conference at Life Community Church with Cindy and Steve Rethmeier. It will be on March 20-22, 2015.
The purpose of this worship event is to allow all of us some quality time in the presence of the Lord. This will be a time to really focus on the love and goodness of Jesus and to allow the Holy Spirit a chance to really connect with us. We all can be encouraged and refreshed by the presence of the Living God through worship. We have invited Cindy and Steve because of their lifelong desire and passion to worship Jesus through music and everyday life.
Cindy Rethmeier is the Musical Worship Leader at Holy Trinity Church in Costa Mesa, California and Steve Rethmeier is the President of Syn-Mar Associates in Southern California. They have been married for over 30 years and have two married children as well as many grandchildren. For the past 30 years, Steve and Cindy have been actively involved in ministry and small groups, as well as leading worship and writing songs. Cindy has wrote or co-wrote Exalt the Lord, I Want to Know You, Undivided Heart, Your Presence, I Bow Down and dozens more. Their passion for the presence of God is contagious and Cindy is currently helping to create the liturgy for an Anglican church plant by writing music for Scriptures, prayers and antiphons.
Conference Schedule:
Friday, March 20:
Session One is 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. – “Who and Why We Worship” – Cindy & Steve Rethmeier
Saturday, March 21:
Session Two is 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. – “How and When We Worship (Part 1)” – Cindy & Steve Rethmeier
(Break 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.)
Session Three is 10:30 a.m. – Noon – “How and When We Worship (Part 2)” – Cindy & Steve Rethmeier
Noon – 1:30 p.m. Lunch (Prepay option below)
Session Four is 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Living Large” – Cindy & Steve Rethmeier
Sunday, March 22:
Cindy and Steve will be speaking and leading worship at our 10:00 a.m. service.
Conference Fees (March 20-21):
Early Bird: $15 individual and $20 couple
At the door: $20 individual and $30 couple
Child Care Fee for conference:
Friday night: $5
Saturday: $15
Friday and Saturday: $17
People can sign up and pay for a catered lunch (Pizza, salad and soda) $7 each or $10 couple. Sign up for lunch will close Friday night.
There are three ways to register and pay for the conference:
1. Online Credit Card/ Debit Card Option: The Life Community Church website offers a convenient and secure online credit card/debit card processing system to register: Register for Heart of Worship Conference
2. Worship Conference Registration Table Option: We will have a registration table at the Life Sunday morning services and the Community Life Wednesday night events, where you can register for the conference.
3. Mail Check to the church Option: You can make a check payable to Life Community Church and include an email address and mail to: Life Community Church, Attention: Heart of Worship Conference, 1204 E. Oak Unit 3-1, Mahomet, IL 61853
