It sounds strange but we need the poor as much as they need us. Followers of Jesus are to care for and give to the poor and needy. Giving a part of your life and resources to the poor and needy is central to our spiritual growth. God is kind and concerned and cares for the poor and so his followers should be as well. This sermon shares some Biblical passages on this subject and also has some examples from our recent Mexico Mission Trip to the Door of Faith Orphanage in early June 2016.
