God is kind and approachable and yet he is holy and awesome. The Bible has many stories of people who were foolish and careless when approaching God. God loves us and he is for us but we must use wisdom and learn from the Bible that God has set limits and boundaries. We should inquire of the Lord through prayer, through the Scriptures and through godly counsel.
